Atelier

My atelier lies at the center of Haarlem, in the Netherlands. The river Het Spaarne, here the city is vibrant, here the wind blows in from the sea. My studio, surrounded by history and culture, is the place where I create, make, and learn every day. Here, the work I love to show is born.

As an artist, designer, and maker, I have a strong passion for lines and patterns in nature, culture, and life itself. Through thousands of stitches – Sen Stitches – I create patterns using both hand and machine techniques. My work combines textiles and paper, animals and threads, circles and symbolism.

A significant part of my practice is the Fabel Newborn collection, which is especially close to my heart. Inspired by my own journey of motherhood, this collection reflects on the beginning of life and the bond between mother and child. Each piece grows stitch by stitch, weaving fabric and thread with love and care. My dedication and intention are expressed in circles and animal patterns that carry meaning and connection.
